SantosLodge
Using GIMP 2 and a .dds editor plugin I was able to make my very own version of this retexture, but I don't know how to implement it and I'm fed up with fiddling with it, especially since I just want it to be a one-time thing. I'm not a modder, and I've never requested a mod from anyone before, but I'd really appreciate it if someone could make for me a barebones recolor of the base Enclave Officer Uniform. Doesn't have to be separated or anything, just change the color from tan to blue. Black pants, collar, belt, buttons, and trim would also be nice, but that's a lot to ask for. What I really want is just a striking blue for a pulp hero kind of character. Thanks for your time! As far as a reference goes, I guess the Vault Suit blue would be fine, but something a bit more vivid like -- well, you know the cowboy superhero The Vigilante? That kind of blue is what I'm thinking. Again, if it isn't too much trouble. EDIT: New problem: the retexture is not taking effect. I'm not sure why not; even when I disable ALL add-ons, it's just the plain old tan color. However, the recolor shows up perfect in the GECK render. Do I have to create a new save for retextures to take effect, or is there a way to force the game to use this retexture? ArekkusuStorm
Guess I could take this up if no one else is willing. Only question I have is replacer or standalone?
SantosLodge
Thank you so much! A replacer would be just fine.

Edit: A better example without ENB. This is a rough mock-up, should there be any changes required (Ie: colour, or the black trimming you mentioned), feel free to comment and I'll make the necessary adjustments. SantosLodge
Again, thanks a bunch! No more adjustments necessary -- it's perfect as is. :)
ArekkusuStorm
No need for thanks especially not when it's just a simple recolour, here you are.

Dudeman325
If I had to take a wild guess, I would say that Archive Invalidation isn't enabled. Just requires a box to be checked if you are using FOMM or NMM. If you don't use those, you probably need to set up Archive Invalidation Invalidated. Hope this helps! ArekkusuStorm
Dudeman is correct, but if archive invalidation is already on then in NMM:- Go to settings and turn off archive invalidation- Load save game, save, and exit- Turn archive invalidation back on- Go back in-game and it should use the new texture Edited November 16, 2013 by ArekkusuStorm
