Cebriones
Hey guys, I came across a thread on the Reddit Skyrim Mods sub, asking about the possibility of having a salary for the Dragonborn. They would be given this salary when appointed thane of the hold. It was discussed of maybe having a base salary of 25 septims per day, where it could rise due to achievement, recognition or services rendered by the LDB. It was also discussed the manner in which the LDB would be given their salary; maybe by a courier or their housecarl? I was personally thinking the mod could use the steward. Anyway, there is not much else to state. The link to the original thread is provided: Thanes Salary? Thanks,Cebriones.
Erenussocrates
I support this one. I would prefer delivery with courier, as Dragonborn doesn't always have time to go check every steward of the hold. Salary should only rise with the number of cities that you are Thane of. But I really like this idea, support this idea, and request this.
nzk0
I'm the one that made the thread over @ Reddit. I do agree the steward would make more sense than the housecarl. Would be great if someone could make it happen :-)
Cardolan
read the original reddit one and had a suggestion. Wouldn't the salary from Whiterun be higher then that from Winterhold?Wouldn't the faction controlled cities give their thanes more to keep them "loyal"?Would you still get coin after leading the attack on whiterun? or would your salary be diverted to rebuilding?Would Falkreath pay more then Markath? Erenussocrates
I could only support Solitude and Windhelm giving more than other cities. Nothing else.
Qahnaaryn
+1, sounds great. Would give an incentive to be "good" instead of murdering everyone.

Nothing else.It would not make any sense at all for only solitude and windhelm to have a higher sallary, being that windhelm is a pretty poor city and that whiterun is skyrims trade center, on top of that you dawnstar windhelm and solitude all fighting for the best "tarriffs" and so multiple cities would have different depending on the personal position, and solitudes price would go down because of the multiple thanes it already has, and the payment to more guards then any other city, there are almost to many factors to factor into making this mod a reality in a way that would satify most
