skyrimlover1212 Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 So, I don't know if this belongs here or in Morrowind Troubleshooting, but here goes: The A key on my keyboard broke off some time ago, and I have since rebound the key to Right Ctrl. Most of the games i've played recognize this change, (Fallout 4 for example) However, Morrowind does not. I Tried Rebinding with the MGE mod, but their keybinding doesn't recognize the Right Ctrl key as the A key, it thinks it's still Ctrl. Is there a way to make Morrowind recognize that the Ctrl key is now the A key?
Dragon32 Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 I would have suggested MGE XE's input editor. If that doesn't work I can't think what else to recommend. Is there another key you could try and rebind using MGE XE?

My computer considers the Right Ctrl key to be my A key, but Morrowind and the MGE XE Key remapper don't, and since my actual A Key doesn't exist anymore, l can't use it to make the game think my right shift is the A key. So unless there's a way to make the game recognize that Ctrl=A, without needing to press the A key, l don't think it will be possible with MGE XE.

Sorry if my written tone sounds angry. I'm just trying to explain my point/problem.

If it's the latter you maybe able to edit MGE.ini after re-mapping, for instance, the B key. If it's the former then that's a limitation of MGE XE
