falloutdesign1
I downloaded the free version of Fallout 3 of the epic store. FOSE did not recognize it and wont work. Also there was no Textures folder which i thought was interesting. Anyone have any ideas?
showler
Seems like the "Anniversary Patcher" to make it compatible with FOSE works on the EGS version as well. You should delete any extraneous languages it installed, though. Apparently, it's pushing the size of the game up to five times what it should be. Textures folder might not be needed if everything is packed in the BSA files. Any mods would just add it in.
GamerGlyph
I would just install Fallout 3 from Steam and edit the Steam version. This is what I have done in the past. The other way to do it is to get a disc and use that. For some reason Bethesda games got rid of the Bethesda Launcher. Any games you had previously downloaded using their launcher could be edited without an issue. The modification problems didn't start until Bethesda put their games on other platforms (imo).
