freakydoo Posted November 21, 2013 Share Posted November 21, 2013 Is it possible to create npc's within some of the settlements whose job it is to clean up dead bodies. i know "zap" is out there and if i have to i will use it. but IMHO it is not lore friendly, ist immersion breaking and it's one more thing that i dont need in my inventory. where as it wouldn't be a far car that settlement would have someone whose job it is to clean up. freeside specifically starts getting riddled with dead bodies. hell the followers of the appocalypse would have enough reason to take dead bodies to use as cadavers for teaching and training. quests could be made to collect bodies for an evil, mad scientist. honestly i just want the dead bodies gone in such a way that make practical sence. thanks for taking the time to read this. Dudeman325 Posted November 22, 2013 Share Posted November 22, 2013 (edited) Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm nearly certain that bodies despawn when the cell resets if they are not holding a quest item. Unless you have a mod that disables this functionality, all it should take is being away from the cell for a few (game)days to clean up the bodies. You can decide to your discretion what happened to them. e.g. wild creatures, cannibals, scientists needing bodies for experiments, blown away by the wind, seeped into the ground or evaporated.
