Fishing spots with pure 1.5.97

I think someone else already posted something like this, searched but can't find it.

 

My Skyrim SE is pure 1.5.97, no downgrade, just started a new game using Kvite's simple start at Riverwood and noticed a fish rack, then got the message of fishing spot discovered.

 

If anyone knows why please enlighten me?

 

Maybe from a mod I'm using?

Everyone knows where the first one is...Right down below the 3 standing stones right at the start of the game. But I found one also over on the river or lake by Riften. I'm a 1.5.97er till the day I die.

with a working rod? I've found several locations where there are rods and sometimes other fishing gear, but they're inaccessible. Admittedly, (and a little enviously, since I do a lot of exploring) I don't think I've ever seen that message. (also on 1.5.97)

 

Oh wait...nvm. it's a "location found" message, not a message associated with the fishing rod being active. I see.

I'll have to check if there are rods but I don't think so, there's the racks with fish hanging off them and the found location messages, I'm using an old USSEP so it's not that, has to be a mod though, I'm not going through 211 of them to find out :smile: don't really understand how the racks and message are even there, even if a mod is somehow doing it, not to worry though they cause no harm, no crashes :D

Fishing racks are vanilla. They've always been there. Probably a mod has a dirty edit that brought back the activator with the message.
