Abicion
Let's say there's an article of clothing that already exists in the game. The meshes and textures are already implemented, and the clothing works in the game itself. Is there any easy way to alter this item in the Construction Set so that it's classified as a piece of armor (either weight class) rather than a piece of clothing? I unfortunately might not be of a great help, but this should get you started... If you could copy then paste the clothing item in question to the armor list, that would work. Otherwise create a new armor using the same Biped Model, World Model, and icon image as the clothing item in question.
Amayakyrol
Make a new armor piece and then direct the mesh, texture and icons to the ones used by the clothing piece.
bben46
If you just change the attributes of a generic piece of clothing in the game, then every piece with that name will be the same. Be sure to make a new name and do as Amayakyrol suggested.
