Adult content filtering could have been a good idea, but alas, it doesn't change a thing, since something like this apparently isn't considered "adult".

I forgot that was that skimpy. I only have it on one NPC,

and she wears a helmet, and doesn't pose like that.Don't see her very often.

 

Anyway the other three are full cover.

 

Maybe if you played as a male you would have more luck ?

Vanilla, Vanilla, Vanilla. Worked for me first time through.

Another popular option is to mod the mods. Take what works from one

mod, maybe the curiass and combine with greaves from vanilla or another

mod. (full greaves seem to be more rare than curiass).

 

There are a few "realisim" people around the site. With a bit of luck someone like

Chalkline - will come along with some more names for you.

 

EDIT: You can also pull parts from one armour with NifScope and add them to the

more revealing mod for a bit more cover. I have done this with a couple of greaves

with some success.

One thing I do occasionally is take the full-cover top (Saint Armor) from the Black Luster mod, black gloves from either black luster or some other mod, and wear it with the Blackwood Company (default game) greaves and boots. It's not a perfect match but it's not bad.

No there's not. There's plenty of lingerie, dancer clothes, catsuits, bunny suits and so on, but I didn't find just one mod that looks appealing to me. Sorting by ratings, the first fifty (!) pages are straight tens, usually containing apparel that can hardly be called "clothing", let alone "armor".

 

I'm sure there are lots of real armor mods - somwehere. It's just impossible for me to find them beneath this pile of 10-stars-rubbish. I lost interest somewhere around page 20.

 

By the way, the rating system is completely worthless if just one rating that's not 10 makes your mod go down 50 pages... Download numbers seem to be a better indicator for good mods, but apparently a lot of people like to have their heroine running around in her underware, so it's not really helping me to find real armor either...

It's disappointing, seeing people act like this. People have gone out of their way to help someone, and when the help is tossed in our faces... not even a thank you unless we ask for it.

Not for what he wants. There is heaps of sexy stuff with big download numbers,

as with the ratings.

 

While I have lots of sexy and semi-sexy armours and clothes for my Cyrodiilians I find

the search engine on the Nexus does require that you be very specific.

Example - a week or so ago we were discussing "real" armours yet again, (as today/tonight)

and Chalkline mentioned the Knightly Armour mod. The search engine will not find the Aussie/Brit

spelling. It has to be - Armor.

 

EDIT: Also - On the topic of "quality" I did a Zen Imperial Legion armour retexture a while back. It shows

my age, and is not very popular - only 50 downloads from over 4000 views. I accept that, but not

the rating of 3 because it's "hippieish". I also had a rating of 3 the other day (which bben has removed)

because some fool thought it was missing something. It is a replacer and only has texture and normal map

But I reckon there is nothing wrong with the "Quality".

Compiling pieces of armors is what I've done till now. For example, Bronze Greaves & Boots (which are a retexture of the Orcish ones, don't know which mod) + Artemis Gauntlets from Apachii's Godess Store + self retextured Brown Leather Cuirass from Armamentarium (or something) gives this, while Black Luster Gauntlets & Greaves + Short Dark Elves Cuirass from Kalikut's Rare Trade Goods + Imperial Horseman Helmet gives this. It doesn't look bad, but I'd like to have something new from time to time.

So you say you can browse the weapons and armor category in under 30 minutes, yes? Do you realize that there are about 256 pages, each of which consists of 10 mods, which leaves you with an average time for each mod of about 1 second? And do you realize that some of the mods have no preview images which requires you to read the description? Do you also realize that if you find a mod you like you need at least 5 seconds to start the download? There's ABSOLUTELY NO WAY you could browse the entire category in less than 2 hours, I say.

Yes, that's true for most mod categories, but when it comes to armor, chainmail lingerie and bunny suits seem to be among the most popular mods of all.

I think there's a general misunderstanding here. I am NOT asking people to browse any categories for me, or to waste their time in any other way for dumb people like me who fail to understand the absolute necessity of thousands of bunny suit, chainmail lingerie and schoolgirl uniform mods.

I am simply asking if anyone happens to already know any mods that could be of interest for me. If you don't know any, then just don't reply, which prevents you from wasting your precious time and me from explaining what kind of mods I'm looking for a third and fourth time. Thanks.

I've done it,do it all the time.I know those catagories very well.Just because you can;t and won't take the time,is no reason to call my truthfullness into question. I truely hope you find your mods but as for me when I'm called a "Liar" in even an disguised manner you lose any further help from me!
