Vortex Instance broken - MODS folder not working (Fallout 4 related)

Hello All,

 

I just launched Vortex to look at my MODS and got a message error saying the folder with MODS can't be found. It says something about a new session and Fallout 4 also says that some mods couldn't be found when loading my lastt game.

I didn't change nor delete/uninstall anything. All as usual it seems.

 

The folder for MODS is unchanged. At some point the app wants to "purge" something but says it is not recommended. There is no clear explanation why this happens, why this would be needed, why and so on. I am in the dark.

 

How can I diagnose the matter and fix it as nothing seems to assist in Vortex app?

How do I know where my MODS were installed initially in the case something's got broken?

If you can be more specific about what the message is saying we might be able to advise you further. It sounds like you deleted or moved your staging folder.
