Skyrim vampire armor mod?

Heya Guys,

 

looking for a mod which can change vampire armor to something less........well crap basically, i'm playing as dawn guard and just feel so disappointed watching the thinly armored blood suckers come at me just to get mowed down.

 

If anyone knows of any good armor mods, or how i can simply just mod the vampires to use existing armor (like the black mage armor mod for example) I would be very grateful.

 

And PLEASE no perverted women dressed in stupid armor mods. really REALLY dislike them.

Honestly, while one could point you to decent vampire-themed armor mods or HD re-textures of the original one. I don't think there's anything as a completely new vampire armor replacer.

 

You gotta keep in mind, Vampires are ultimately sneaky-casters. you won't see them go ham on you with heavy armor. and If they need to go ham on you, they'll just summon undeads/gargoyle/Vampire Lord mode.

 

EDIT : Someone may however know how to use the creation kit to replace their armor with whatever you want, although I myself am no modder so I can't help you much.

what difficulty do you play on? i always played legendary, and tbh, the bloodsuckers got me really hard until like level 35 - 40 ... and even then, new gear and forgot to enchant / temper it: orc-blood with a nice berserk bouqet for the vamps... the vampire-masters later ingame (level 50 i think, or 52) have hitpoints in a way that they could probably take down dragons of the same levels.

I play on Master, character is level 194 , i realize vamps are sneaky beakys but i have enhanced patrols on, which will cause more npc vamps to attack me at random, i like the idea of vampires with a heavy armor side to them (like the death dealers from underworld) , it's mainly for aesthetic purposes aswell as i don't think generic vampire armor is much cop.

 

I'd like to replace the armors of the vampire faction with the ones below but dont know how.

Also i like the dark brotherhood armor overhaul mod. was wondering if that could be adapted to suit vampires.

No wonder you can take them down with ease (I'd have started a new game long before that level). You should set your difficulty level to legendary & get a high level gameplay overhaul mod. Even then I doubt it will make much difference.

 

Wouldn't mind seeing the underworld armor in Skyrim myself though. The DG vampire armor is.. meh.

Yeah, you're experiencing it too easy because the character level is too high, the opponents stopped levelling with you. Even at level 70s I already find some aspects of the game too easy at Legendary. What more for someone of your level?

it's also mainly for asthetic's as i think generic vampire armor looks like barf, more immersion to is what i'm after.

You still have one level of difficulty to go. And level 194? What exactly is going to challenge you at that level? Falling off the Winterhold catwalk?
