NMM not installing mods right

v0.47.5 and latest Skyrim version

 

Its just doesnt seem to be installing mods, because they arent in the game where they clearly should be or in the files. And even manually installing them doesnt seem to work (I could be doing something wrong for the manual installs though).

 

The mods are Deadly Dragons, Duel Combat Realism, Eat Sleep Drink Bathe, JoO Sith Lightning.

1. Have you given admin privileges to NMM, Steam, Skyrim and skse?

(Right click on the icon and select "Run as Administrator." It is not enough that your Windows user profile has administrator rights.

 

2. If you open the folder icon on the top of NMM and manually follow those paths, is that where your relevant files are?

(For example, if you click on open game folder, then follow that path, do you actually get to the steam/skyrim folder with the data folder inside?

 

3. Did you add these lines to your skyrimprefs.ini (the one in your documents/games/skyrim file, not the one in your data file), to allow files to be applied?

I installed one mod today and that worked, but I've tried installing other mods today too, and those didn't work. I even saw those mods in the game files. And I've had some of them installed earlier at one point, so things like the MCM menu aren't there even though they should be.

 

Like I said, I tried manual install, which didn't work. Even mods from the Steam workshop (they never have before though).

 

And it is a legit game, not pirated.

 

Could there be a problem that isn't NMM?

It means all those things are there. Its run as admin, the path is right, and the lines in Skyrimprefs are there.

I'm also having this only happened to day. I also cannot reach the nexus metadata sever as well.

Smitty, are you using BOSS? Does BOSS list the mods you have installed?

If so, can you please post the text file of your BOSS log, also your Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini (the ones in your documents/games/skyrim folder)

It might also help to have your computer specs (either from Steam system info or dxdiag)

If BOSS does not list the mods, does it give any error messages? What are they?

 

Also, it's basic, but have you tried logging out and logging back into Steam and NMM? Also check your firewall to make sure it is not blocking any of the programs needed?

Firewall does not seem to be blocking anything. And I do not use the NMM to launch Skyrim. (And yes I do have SKSE)
