What are some modding resources I can use to make new Creatures, Characters, Animations, etc?

alright I've found one modding resource... it's a new one and it's called Gmax... and yes it was created from the same site that 3DSMax was created from... hopefully this helps some newbie's who are just getting into the game of Morrowind... :smiley:

And it's also worthless. Gmax has NO .nif export ability, and is therefore absolutely useless for Morrowind modding.

Only if you also have 3dsmax. The .nif export plugin is for 3dsmax only. And even worse, the latest versions of 3dsmax don't even work because the plugin hasn't been updated.

 

But in theory, you could model in Rhino and find someone with 3dsmax to do the final export. I'm not sure how good translation is from Rhino -> 3dsmax, but you should be able to get the model imported ok, if not all the texturing.

lol... ok... I was going to download Rhino from it's website... and then get to work on new creatures, buildings, etc.
