Aasmodeusss
Hey all, A while back I saw a mod reviewed in a youtube video that added some new really cool looking death animations to energy weapons(and many some others?) but forgot to save it and now can't find it or the video for the life of me. I was hoping someone knows of the mod I'm talking about and could point me in the right direction. Thanks.
StormWolf01
Heyas As. :)If you are talking about the mod that makes it so that it turns the ash/goo piles into burnt skeletons, ur talking about the crit gore overhaul.https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23780 I hope that's the one that you're looking for. It's about the only one that I know of that changes the effects on energy weaps.
H4RDC0R3V1B3Z
I've been using CROSS Crit Gore-verhaul for nearly 100 hours and it's fantastic. It only works when a crit happens on biological enemies such as Deathclaws, humans and Super Mutants. You can change it via in-game holotape (or MCM on PC, I assume) so that the effect occurs on every death though. Definitely worth a download! It's good to hear what other players think of it! [Edit] I do want to mention tho, that this effect works for vanilla weapons. Mod added weapons have to be edited with certain keywords to make the effect take place. The editing itself isn't that hard. Niero included what needs to be added/removed in the mod description. If you're playing with mod guns, I highly recommend copying that text, and pasting it into a text file on your computer.Editing the mod weapon files, does however also mean that the crit gore overhaul has to load BEFORE your weapon mods in your load order. So placing it ahead of them, as you install the mod, would do very well in foresight ;)
Aasmodeusss
Thanks, I haven't been on the forums in a couple weeks but CROSS Crit Gore-verhaul is the one. It's pretty amazing. I especially love how the skeletons are still wearing their gear when they burn up. Picking up perfect armour out of a pile of ash always felt weird to me.
