ThetaOrionis01
I usually use either the TESCS or TESame to clean files. First of all sacrifice a goat or llama make a backup of the plugin in case you clean out too many entries. Using the TESCSIn the file loading window for the CS - it will list all .esm and .esp files in your data files directory - highlight the plugin you want to check, then click 'details'. This will bring up a list of every entry contained in the plugin... all references, objects, dialogue etc.Clicking on the 'ID' tab will sort those entries by type. What you're looking for are entries of type 'GMST' which shouldn't be there - this may not be easy to determine, but you could perhaps e-mail the creator of the plugin and ask which GMST entries are meant to be modified in the esp. If the esp doesn't have Bloodmoon as a master file, the obvious ones to look for are the ones added by that expansion - if you look at the file details for the Bloodmoon esm you'll find them all listed. To clean an entry out of the esp, highlight the entry in the file details, then hit 'delete' on your keyboard. You'll get a message box warning you about setting an 'ignore' flag. Ok that. When you've cleaned out all 'dirty' entries, close the file details, and load the esp with its correct parent masters, making the esp the active file. Once the file is loaded, save it. Reload the plugin, and the entries should have gone. To use TESame, first you have to download the utility. The read me file should tell you how to use it. Good luck :) The Bloodmoon GMST entries can be really annoying - they've managed to creep into my files on several occasions....
Crim, The Red Thunder
Ill pick up a copy of TESame, and see what i can do. That sounds like the easier of the 2 options. As for keeping backups, i have the original downloads to all my hundreds of mods in a seperate folder, just in case something screws up the copy im using in the morrowind data files... in other words, i keep duplicate copies of EVERYTHING i download for morrowind. Guess im just paranoid... Thanks All.
