Lummina
Hello, I am playing Oblivion after a long while away. I am working with Wrye Python 304, libraries updated. Should BOSS be showing 2 instances of an active bash patch when it sorts? Both are in the unrecognized category. I ask out of curiosity and just because. Thanks for reading. L. eric31415
Short answer, no. But check your data folder to make sure that there aren't actually 2 there.
Lummina
Hi Eric, There are 2 in C:\Oblivion\Data. One is ghost esp. I didn't get a patch on initial install.
eric31415
Not sure why it would create a ghost like that. I would delete the ghost, then rebuild the other one, just to be safe. If Wrye creates another ghost, I would not worry about it, as long as the game runs properly. But I am betting that you accidentally created the ghost yourself when rebuilding the patch. Lummina
Thank you for replying. I will ax the ghost and see what shakes. A question regarding your comment about 'accidentally' creating a ghost patch when rebuilding. I'd like to know how one "makes" a ghost patch when simply restructuring an existing patch? Again, just wondering. Thanks for your time. L.
eric31415
If I remember correctly, "create ghost" and "rebuild patch" options are pretty close to each other. Seemed like an easy thing to do, and i'm not sure how else it could get there. Hope all is working well now.
