[NOTE] A note to people having trouble with the site

Considering they're merging things, purging and quashing bugs, and just doing general maintenance, you should probably just stick to what you have for a few days until Dark0ne or one of the other Admins posts an update saying it's all done. Until then, just stick with what mods you have, or search for them on another site like Steam Workshop. No use complaining.

I've noticed several bugs, like: major lag, manual downloading just leading to a blank page where the download was hosted (fl12.nexusmods.com/blahblahblah or whatever, depending on which server you chose), and even yesterday it was telling me that some mods were added and updated in 1969!

In the end, I know not to be bothered by it, because I know it will all be fixed.

Well, downloading straight to NMM is temporarily disabled and NMM is offline. However, manual downloads are still up and adding them to NMM while it's offline is still an option after you download anything manually.

Thank you for posting this!

I'm new here, and to modding in general. Today I tried to log in to the Oblivion Nexus site, and my browser didn't remember my user name, and also thought I had changed my password. I was afraid that my account had been hacked. That's still a possibility, but reading this makes me think it may be a little less likely.

I came here to try and find out what to do if my account has been hacked, as I saw no other way to log in or recover/reset my password. Perhaps someone could create a 'sticky' for that?

I will bookmark some mods and wait a little while. I'm glad I could still log in here. Now, if I could only remember my password for NMM.......

Shouldn´t that be the same as your site password?

Think I have it like that. But I could be wrong. :geek:

That's what I was wondering, but I don't know.

Since my original post, I have reset my forum password and downloaded the new version of NMM (0.46.0). I thought that might fix the problem, but after multiple attempts to log in to NMM, I have given up again. I can remember the overall password, but not the specifics. There really should be a better way to use the Internet than this nightmare of passwords that we live in.
