PumpkinBob
Hi all, since a few days I'm having issues deploying any The Witcher 3 mods since latest extension update to 1.5.3.7. The Vortex version remain unchanged to 1.6.4, but updating to beta 1.7.2 didn't change anything. Unfortunately I'm not pretty sure what the actual change nor issue is. I'm only presented with following error: There's an alert right-top. When clicking on "Fix" (which only works once - "Fix" does not trigger dialog once clicked once during runtime of Vortex), I see following: And yes, I'm using Symlink method to deploy. This has been working fine before the last extension update. And yes, I'm using my Documents folder on a network share. The only changes between working and non-working state were:1. Windows Updates2. Vortex TW3 Extension update as noted My assumption are some changes in the TW3 extension which is breaking setups where Documents folder is on a network share. Anyone got any idea? Appreciate any help! P.S.: I filed a bug report via Vortex itself, but not sure if that has worked - so posting it here as well.
PumpkinBob
Quick update: Updated to new beta 1.7.3, no change. Exact same behavior remains. To add: Cyberpunk 2077 mods do work fine.
PumpkinBob
I was able to fix it myself. I had "Allow Symlinks without elevation" (Vortex - Settings - Workarounds - Symlinks) enabled and that caused all deployment methods being unavailable for some reason. Disabling that option and rebooting Windows allowed me to deploy TW3 mods again.
