Darkstorne
Background, so the question makes more sense: I'm a pretty big mod user, and have downloaded several mods to customise my main character, including Beautiful People, a Dual Wield Animation, and unique armours. However, after all the time i've spent on this main male character, i've now been spending some time with a new female character. I created her using the Lineage 2 Races mod, and noticed that it isn't compatible with Beautiful People. So whenever I start up Oblivion I now have to select which of the two character creation mods to use in OBMM depending on which character I want to play. I'd also like to give my female character a unique combat animation, rather than having her in the same pose as my main character, which would result in more checking and unchecking of mods before starting the game. So my question is: Is there a way to create 'profiles' in OBMM, so that I could assign a profile to each character, and just switch between them, rather than checking and unchecking a load of mods before starting the game? I hope that makes sense. If this can be done, it would make character diversity a lot easier and hassle-free to accomplish, and I won't have to worry about managing several different mods that are unique to each of my characters. Thanks for reading :)

Thanks for reading :)OBMM's a mod manager, what you want is already done and I did experiment it myself and can say it works fine. You'll find Oblivion Character Manager here. You may ever consider integrating everything with The OBSE launcher that allows launching the game with or without OBSE in a nice User interface and plus, can launch OBMM and the Character Manager among other things. PS: That Character manager is automatized and will save the games into 'character name folders', including the auto and quick saves. So, once you select the actual character you want to use, only the related saves will appear for loading and the new saves you do will apply just for it. As said, the process is automated, the utility seek for the character's name, not the files names.
Darkstorne
Thanks for the reply. I've downloaded both of the utilities and they are working perfectly. The character specific saves will be great for quicksaves! I can't find any option in the Character Manager to create character specific mod profiles though. Even selecting one character as the 'active' character and changing his selected mods results in the same mods being selected for the other character too. Am I missing something? Or is it just not possible to do? EDIT: Just realised - since animations overwrite certain files, switching between different animations for different characters would require more tweaking than simply selecting different mods anyway. Although character mod profiles might be somewhat useful, any major character variances would require file renaming either way. Oh well, at least I came out of this with an awesome save manager! Thanks for the help :)

Maybe someone knows about and bring a better answer. For now you must rely on doing so by yourself... and pray...
