Vortex Skyrim SSE has infinite loading screen of death on Plugins tab

I've been creating an entirely new modlist, no issues, until I got about 90% done. Out of nowhere, my plugins tab will NOT load at all, just infinitely stuck on the loading screen of death. LOOT will also not sort my plugins when I run it as a separate app.

 

I uninstalled the 3 mods I had added right before, which are very well known mods by very well known creators, no help.

 

I can still add, remove, edit mods in my "Mods" tab just fine. It's just the plugin tab. I tried restarting vortex, looking for a Vortex update, looking for a LOOT update, restarting my computer... I'm at a loss how to fix this.

 

I am now backing up my 1080 mods to a Terabyte external hard drive because I'm scared I will lose the last 3mo of work.

 

I don't know if it's related but last night I one of my mods randomly stopped recognizing another .esm master file, even though clicking on the "Missing Master" took me to the exact master... installed. I'd been trying to troubleshoot it all morning. The mods in question were the 3 I uninstalled just incase it was related to them. No dice. Still infinite loading death.

Okay. Issue resolved after I came home an hour later. Weird, I've NEVER had it take that long. Topic can be deleted

If you have hundreds/thousands of plugins it takes a long time to load the tab. The LOOT team are aware of the problem (as it's LOOT that slows the process).
