Kyokinity
Just got the game, patches, and expansions for it for my laptop. The gameplay though is very choppy. It really makes it hard to enjoy the game for me. I have the graphics options set as low as they can go. (I think) So, what can I do? Any ideas? Kyokinity
Also, if it helps, I'm running on XP on a Intel Core Duo Processor 2.16GHz, 3582MB RAM, and my video card is a NVIDIA GeForce 8200 GS.
Xorak
That's more CPU and RAM than my aged opteron desktop, though I have a 4870. I play on high settings, but the CPU doesn't always keep up. You should be in pretty good shape at low graphics settings, I would think, though I'm not familiar with the 8200GS specs off the top of my head. It's pretty low end though. If there's any way to upgrade, I'd suggest doing so.. Even at low settings, if you're running at native res. on a nicer screen, it maybe too much. Also, stupid question, you run with it plugged in to the wall right? Some laptops will not run at full speed on battery power.

Deleted54170User
Click Here and read this stuff to see if it will help. Also I just found out DirectX has been upgraded a couple of months ago. I also check in nVidia and got my own nVidis 8600's upgraded drivers. Drivers for the DVD drive too.
