LourdessApekatt
Yeah the title is my question. Because I feel like it makes zero sense but perhaps there is something I don't know.
anjenthedog
You get bounty for committing a crime. Killing a courier is a crime.

anjenthedog
You're not a cop, you have no authority of any kind.Well... except for killing animals and bandits and rogue wizards and so forth, which apparently aren't crimes, even when you murder them to death

Killing a courier is a crime. But why? why would that be a crime, in an imperial hold? like even regular soldiers attack those guys like what. I feel like i'm doing them a favor but ok

I feel like i'm doing them a favor but ok IDK, maybe it's an oversight, or some diplomatic thing, or maybe it's just a long overlooked bug. Poysonally speakins... I just consider them off limits, like chickens or townsfolk.

It's like they have gotten info about you that they will deliver to someone which is why I always go for better safe than sorry
7531Leonidas
Just chase them until they are out of sight of others, and use one of the mods that changes crime reporting by animals... Once you kill him/her, then you will get a msg that a bounty has been applied, but another msg should follow that states the last witness removed - bounty removed. High stealth skills and archery perks make this much easier.

Or when I get bounty i just use console commands to remove it, but that works too I guess
