LadyExar
Hi there! I hope I'm doing this right haha.Never really posted here before and I just created this account after deleting my old one. After nearly a five-year break, I decided to redownload Fallout 4 - I'm super excited to play again, but unfortunately I have fallen out of touch with the modding scene. By the time Vortex came out, I was already pretty much gone - I'll be using NMM cause I had a much easier time with it.Back when I was checking the Nexus pretty much every day as part of my routine, my game was this mess in which I chucked whatever was the newest and prettiest, but now I'm coming back to it with a different goal in mind: I want my fallout 4 experience to feel closer to the older games. The first installments of the saga in particular were exceptional at making you feel alone and scared in an extremely hostile, deadly world... so, my question is: which mods do you think I should check out in my quest to experience a more intimidating wasteland? I hope everyone is having an awesome day. Thank you in advance to anyone who responds!
HeyYou
Nice to see you back. :) Have a look at the 'most endorsed' mods on Nexus. You can also search by category. (game play...) LOTS of choices out there. :) Read the descriptions, and see which ones suit your tastes/goals. Modding your game can be a process.... (career move?) :D Some folks spend more time modding their game, than they do playing...... My game has evolved over several years into what it is today..... So, I actually get to PLAY. :D
draytalon
When i mod my game, I go for the quest type mods, treasure hunting, big game hunting series, sim settlements 2 series and some ascetic mods, like enhanced blood. Although as HeyYou stated, it's definitely a career move, and if you make a mistake with a mod, depending on how many you have, it can take time to fix the issue, i can attest to this wholeheartedly. It goes without saying, it boils down to your type of gaming idea, sexy, roguish, freedom fighter, melee, sneak, sniper whatever. It's finding that mix you enjoy

WAY to familiar with that feeling. :D I STILL tinker with my game now and again, even a couple years after I have it modded to my taste. :D
