Marlthon
Hi, you are asking why the OdinShip mod disappeared from the Nexus? Well, there was a censorship from Nexus regarding two mods of mine that were blocked for use on servers, this function being released only for donors, Nexus did not accept this and removed my two mods, and I removed all my mods from Nexus, so as a good part of the OdinPlus team no longer uses the Nexus, I will no longer use it either. Dark0ne
The mod was in breach of our donation guidelines, which are covered in this news post: https://www.nexusmods.com/news/14698 As you can see above, the mod author seemingly did not agree with our policy so they left. In my view, I didn't violate any rules... I didn't block any content, the mod's content is all there, the player can download and use everything, it's just blocked from using it on dedicated servers... What do we mean by “monetising modding”? Offering mods, files, updates, or technical support in exchange for donationsEarly access to files, updates etc. in exchange for donations/paymentsStretch goals for the creation/development of mods (“I’ll make XYZ when we reach $1,000”)Allowing donors to request mods/files/updates in exchange for donations I didn't violate any of these rules, it's not about blocking content, the player can download the mod and access all of its content, test using it at will, you just can't put it on a dedicated server and earn money on my back, I pay for 3D models that are expensive, nothing fairer than getting paid for it to continue being able to invest in the mod. Well I won't explain anymore, there are other modding sites and my mods are there, and on the other sites it's allowed, we just had to put warnings about the KeyManager... simple as that...
