urpofme
NMM does not work correctly with Skyrim Special Edition GOG. I don't know if there is a more competent solution, but I found this way: - in the documents you create a Skyrim Special Edition folder. And you copy everything from the SSE GOG folder into it (so that you don't complain about the lack of ini files). - are you going down this path: \AppData\Local you should have two folders Skyrim Special Edition and SSE GOG from the first copy the file plugins.txt in the second (and you do it every time after installing new mods in NMM). I didn't find a normal solution to this problem on the Internet, so I wrote and found and wrote my own solution to the problem. It is better not to use the GOG version at all. It's all. If there are any comments or questions - write, I will try to answer everything. Edited February 20, 2023 by urpofme

showler
That's not an answer. GOG support was supposed to be added in 0.84.2. If you are using that version then the proper thing to do is report the problem on GitHub. If you are not using that version, then you should update and see if it persists. wfandrews
I am using version 84.3 and have been for some time. Where are you downloading NMM Community Edition from? This version was released in December of 2022 on github.
showler
Ha, I just noticed I scrolled down too far while looking at the GitHub page and accidentally read the wrong version number.
wfandrews
Just do not forget when you install v. 84.3 that your mod directory and install information for GOG must be in different locations than the default locations that NMM puts it's games in.
