help with slow download speed with vortex,i have premium...

 

o bought premium and im downloading at this speed

AND THIS IS MY INTERNET SPEED

pls help to increase the download speed

When you go to your site preferences and click "Premium membership preferences", what is showing under your "Preferred download location"? Looking at your test results, the best locations to choose for you would be "CDN" or "Prague".

 

Note: any time you change this setting, it will only take affect on new downloads you start from that point on. It won't affect downloads you have already started/have started and paused.

What are your download speeds like when you download manually through your browser instead of Vortex?

 

In Vortex, go to "Settings" -> "Download". Have you increased the number of "download threads"? Try setting it to 8 and see if that improves anything. If it does, your ISP was throttling you.

I have contacted my ISP and they changed the route ,my ip and many other things,all that was in they reach they did,but no luck,can you check your servers or something?

What download speed are you getting when you download through your browser? Your download speed tests from our servers showed that you download at very good speeds from our servers, with most of them being above 10MB/sec.

through my browser is +10mbs,but now ,through vortex its downloading at 6~18 mbs,don't know what you did,but i hope that keeps this way. Many thx!

We didn't do anything at all. It's definitely some sort of throttling on your ISPs end.

I can confirm I am having the same problem as well, I work for a big tech company and can guarantee that it's not the users. There is clearly a routing issue with Vortex, it's not looking for alternate ports or servers to pull from. I can confirm it's not my end or my ISP, I use my own equipment, and if every other downloading program and Internet browser can reach my speeds it's a you problem.

Vortex on my end is capped at 3 mb/s, I should see 40mb/s. Your website support states non premium members are capped at 3mb/s. Leads one to believe Vortex may have a bug with recognizing premium membership.

This becomes a bigger issue when you are attempting to download mod Collections, especially ones that are around 60 gb. 3mb/s, 60 gigs, that's about 3 hours, and users are paying for uncapped but not receiving the uncapped speeds in vortex.

This needs to be investigated.
