furel
I have 2 mods changing the EditID of a Cell and adding a different XLOC records, I'm trying to make them compatible but I don't know how to do it. It's possible to make a patch?
showler
You can make a patch, but you may have to choose one option or the other. Does the information matter for either mod?
furel
Both mods are hosted in LL. One mod adds markers for some side quest or something, the other mod adds a whole town with all his quests. The easy way should be move the things of the fist mod to other cell.
showler
Are the markers not being added because of the second mod? That seems unusual. Usually stuff from both mods would end up in the game and you'd only have to worry about things like a marker ending up inside a rock added by the other mod or somesuch. furel
I didn't experience any issues, I saw that two mod override the same record in the same cell while I was chequing the conflicts the mods have.I was just worried that if one mod writes an XLOC and another mod overrides with its own XLOC it might cause a problem while I'm playing. showler
How much conflict and how bad it is depends entirely on what specific records are being edited.
