SpartanSamuel
I've had FO3 going fine with all three DLC's, FOMM, FOSE, et cetera with the miscellaneous mod here and there (Completed Operation: Anchorage, haven't done the Pitt, but have completed the main quest of Broken Steel without the side quests). I downloaded some more and decided to toss some of the mods I was using at the time. Unfortunately, FOMM wouldn't let me deactive any of them. I figured I'd just uninstall and then reinstall everything together in harmony. Well, they all work fine but now my main quest is all booped up. For one, the Anchorage DLC quests are all completed, but it claims I haven't entered the simulation pod. Two, it's also saying that I've only completed up to Take it Back! yet it says I still have to talk to Elder Lyons for one thing and Activate Project Purity for the other (both greyed out, so I can't just make them my active quest and command prompt completequest or resetquest). Is there a way I may at the very least restart the DLC while maintaining my character? I've explored more than half the entire Wasteland here... :(
Wandik
there is a way, by using quest related commands found HERE.
SpartanSamuel
It's not allowing me to go back to a previous objective in the quest, nor complete it outright. I'm attempting to reset the main quest to the first objective to see if it'll let me free... Thanks for this, btw. EDIT: I've reset the Operation Anchorage quest, and unfortunately the quest starts when I get the Outcast Distress Signal. I can't get that signal, unless there's a code for that as well... EDIT EDIT: Neither reverting to a prior stage in a specific quest, attempting to automatically complete said quest, nor resetting it altogether works. Any other options out there? muppetsoup
Uncheck the .esm, start game, save, quite, recheck it, restart game. That should restart your DLC. If you have taken any perks from said DLC it may crash your game, in which case you will have to remove them first. I noticed something similar that I think started after I patched up. Missing map markers for places I had obviously been, things like that.
SpartanSamuel
I'm doing the uncheck, check thing now, actually... I know I had the achievements. They're not showing up, but I'll remove them just in case, save, and then try. EDIT: Negative. Still nill on the radio signal, as well as continuing the main quest. For the main quest, I've "reset" all quests with a flawed objective (aka grayed out and completed but missing an objective), and I've successfully completed up to Picking up the Trail (though I can't start it...)
