blaa.nOx
Hi,I´m searching for a mod that gets rid of the multiplier system but doesn´t level up automatically.I do want to get to distribute points on each level up, I don´t want the pain of dealing with multipliers. Any mods out there for me? :)
Fangdreth
Yupper McYupyup. Try doing a search for "Oblivion XP" on the main page engine. OblivionXPLevelling (sp?) offers you a new means of levelling up, by gaining XP from any sort of action: doing quests, killing enemies, stealing from innocents, investing, reading a book... The degree to which you earn XP is within your ability to change, too. A document comes along with the mod. Normally, a book yields 50XP, investing 150, or it takes 2500 XP to earn level 2. Want to read a book and gain a level? Change the value from 50 to, say, 5000. Or do you want to level slowly? Halve the values, and/or double the requirements. Upon sleeping (and waking) you are presented with a means of spreading out 'skill points'. You gain 36 per level. Your major specialized (IE: Magic spec'd would give you Destruction, etc.) cost 2, everything else costs 3. Levelling up a skill yields benefits to attributes. Putting five levels into Destruction would give you a couple points of Willpower, and a small amount of Intelligence. You can customize this, too. Want each level to give 1 XP? You can do it. When worked alongside with, say, Elys Uncapper, the XP Levelling mod allows you to go past 100 (you set the limit in the document). My only qualm? It's a right pain to install, unless you use the OMOD version. I highly suggest you use the OMOD version. Luck!-FD
apocalypse1138
OblivionXP is what I use personally. I use it mostly because you can set it up about anyway you like, it's very familiar, and it adds depth to your stats menu.
