Hi, i'm switching from my xbox fallout 3 to PC tomarrow and wanted to know what are the 'must haves' for Mods. What mods do most people have in certain areas, such as Models and Textures, to added content items and Misc good mods that you'd recommend for a person playing it on PC.

Someone posts a new topic like this everyday. Instead of being a lazy *ban me*, why do not just scroll down a little and click on the old topic. Or better yet actually go to fallout3nexus.com and look at the mods. Wow what a genius idea. There are "files on the month" "top 50" and you can even browse and search throughout the mods by ratings and downloads. Christ, is this post really needed every single day?

Someone's had a bad day. But anyway yeah dude this gets posted a LOT. Try a search or like Triumph said check out the Top 50 and Files of the Month. The only thing I can really recommend is XFO, just search it and you'll find it. It doesn't add stuff but makes the game a hell of a challenge.

Threads like this are an absolute waste of time for several reasons, the main one is being waaay too subjective, so people will just suggest the first large mod that comes to their mind and be done with it.

You already played the game on the Xbox, so instead of asking a stupidly generic question like "What are the real Must Have mods?", think of the parts of the original game that you don't like, search a bit on the nexus for that category (there's a search function and a category browsing capabilities for a reason) to get you an idea of whats out there, and if after that you're in doubt, ask a more specific question.

So instead of asking generically, ask for, say, what realism mods are out there, or hunger/sleep/thirst ones, or gun-adding ones, or gun rebalance / damage rebalance mods, or global texture replacers...

If you do things that way, you won't waste our time, and we won't waste yours with oxymoron suggestions.

sorry for asking this question I know it gets asked a lot, but I was picking up my copy in the morning and was up late and really tired, i know thats a lame excuess for not searching the forums, but thats why. Also the top 50 doesn't always have the most helpful mods for each case or the base mod for other mods. So I just wanted to get an idea of mods most people were using, so delete this topic if you want.

Problem is, questions like this get answered with pretty much what's on the top 50 (well, actually, the non-nude mods of the top 50), so you don't get much with it.

Just ask something more specific next time, you'll get better thoughts and more detailed responses by far.

Look in my sig for my mods. They're updated often and pretty popular for the short time they've been out.
