Joeziah
Hello, sorry if this question has been asked before but I could not find it on these forums if it had a solution.I'm in the process of porting the models from new vegas into cryengine 3 and I'm running into an issue with textures that have alpha channels.Every time I go to open them in either photoshop or anything else, they loose the alpha and the areas that are supposed to have no alpha end up turning into color and this isn't something you can fix with a magic wand. Anyone here had success in extracting textures from new vegas and preserving their alpha channels?
ArekkusuStorm
Edit: So you get the alpha channel though, right? And it all shows along with the black(which is the transparent areas)? Joeziah
I'm wondering if they even have a alpha channel now, maybe its just a white canvas that they used and the engine interprets it as a alpha?
TrickyVein
Do you have the necessary nvidia photoshop .dds plugin?
