skerdehur
I had Avast's ransomware shield enabled. I tried creating an exception for Vortex, but that didn't work. When I checked permissions for My Documents, I noticed that write permission was set to deny for Administrators. Once I changed that, Vortex stopped throwing errors. Navigate to C:\Users\"Account Name" --> Right Click on Documents --> Select Security tab --> Select Adminstrators in the Group or user names box --> Click Edit --> Uncheck Deny Write --> Hit okay. Oh. I still had the exception set for Vortex in Avast. So, you might have to create a ransomware exception for Vortex in your Anti-virus and allow write permissions. Dunno. Hope it helps.
