Why do my graphic mods don't work on my own created world?

Recommended Posts

Hello, I just started modding some days ago and I guess my question sounds stupid for many of you.

When i play the normal skyrim world, start it by vortex, all the downloaded mods work.

Why do my graphic mods don't work on my own created world? I also start it by vortex with the hole modlist.

I created a small world, but for example the flower models are still the vanilla ones. Or the LODs are completely not working at all. I can just see one cell far.

I would be very greatful for an explanation to better understand how everything works together!

Graphic mods like the ones that do lighting, modify the lights that are placed only in the vanilla game by changing the light's value, they do not modify the lights at an engine level so that they would work with ALL mods.

Something similar happens with 'flower mods', if they replace the based model and texture of the game, then it will show up in any mod that uses that vanilla record.

But if the mod modify only the flowers that are placed in the game's world, then they will show ONLY in the game's world and nowhere else.

This applies to all mod.

Now, for your world's LOD not working, I would suggest to start doing some extensive research and watching some YouTube video tutorials, so that you can start to understand what LOD is and how it works. It will be much more understandable for you instead of reading a wall of text.

Things are not as simple as it may appear, as just drag and drop it into ck render window.
