Vortex still crashing

I just updated to the newest version of vortex about 5 minutes ago and it's still doing the same type of crashing as before splash screen shows up task manager says it's not responding followed by a crash and then I have to go on task manager to shut it down and yes I'm on Windows 10 no error messages just flat out crash after the splash screen and then I have to shut it down on the task manager.

Can you try renaming the Vortex folder in %appdata% to something else and see if the application starts up?

 

If it works it means your Vortex state data may be corrupted, if it doesn't then something your PC may be interfering with Vortex.

yeah it's quite strange I love Vortex I've been using it for about 2 years now and that's just recently started happening never had this issue before each time I install a new version I uninstall the old version what I've been doing as a workaround in the meantime until things get figured out is launching the game the old fashioned way with skse itself from the desktop which is another reason why I love hard link deployment.
