anjenthedog Posted May 29, 2023 Posted May 29, 2023 Anyone happen to recognize that notification and perhaps can identify the mod that's firing it? thanks.
Oblivionaddicted Posted May 29, 2023 Posted May 29, 2023 At worst, disable a bunch of mods, check if the problem remains etc and you should find the culprit.
anjenthedog Posted May 29, 2023 Author Posted May 29, 2023 At worst, disable a bunch of mods, check if the problem remains etc and you should find the culprit. Thanks but... I'm familiar with that approach but was hoping to avoid having to do it that way. Seems like a notification that other seasoned players might/would have seen along the way, so I'll hold out for now
anjenthedog Posted May 30, 2023 Author Posted May 30, 2023 yep I could. My plate is already full. I was hoping someone might recognize the notification and save me the additional trouble. Hmm, maybe I'm having an epiphany.... unless spending as much or more time debugging as playing, is what Skyrim is really about, that is.
anjenthedog Posted May 30, 2023 Author Posted May 30, 2023 I think I figured it out. Immersive interactions has a few "experimental features" that allow interacting with things like wood piles and kegs. If it thinks you've tried to click something (ex: to refill an empty bottle), but there's no suitable item (ex: keg) to interact with, it fires "No Nearby Items To Interact With". And it uses the "E" button, which is the hotkey I kinda figured the notification was linked to. So... solving it... I guess means disabling those features.
