The main reasons are the weight difference (I can carry more loot wearing my combat armor), the less pronounced movement penalty to my speed and sneaking, and I just like the aesthetic of it. ZeonicGlory Posted June 12, 2009 Share Posted June 12, 2009 I personally prefer to use Combat Armor (when playing the unmodded 360) over Power Armor, as there's really no good stat increases for Power Armor. I personally love using the Ranger's Combat Armor, as it has good bonuses to AP and Small Guns. After being boosted by mods, I'm more partial to Power Armor when playing PC. I use neither, or both. :D Allow me to explain. Normally, I rely on Armored Vests to provide my actual DR, so that I can wear anything I want for aesthetics. Prior to getting that mod, I preferred power armor, as I have one of the "weightless" power armor mods. I didn't much care for the looks, but with MMM, I needed the protection.
