fdiscodude
Ok, ngl I feel stupid for this but I need help. I've seen mentioned several times and described vaguely, how do you use the console to locate mod specific content like perks and/or "stuff". Like for example, I don't want to hunt the magazines from a mod down just to get the perks like I have several times over. In the comments section people mentioned they used console to get the perks....how do I do this? The command I found in this post there didn't work for me and idk what i'm missing here. Gunslinger808
Well, if you’re lazy like I am you can download a cheat terminal that’s available for both PC and console. With it you set your SPECIALs, and perks to whatever you want.Need more caps, no problem, running low on ammo, not any more, don’t want to do a quest for a certain object, don’t have to.I use this one for both… https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13285
DizzasterJuice
In the console type in "help" followed by the name of the magazine, perk, or any item, then followed by "4" and it will bring up a list with everything with that name in it. Then type in "player.additem (ItemID)" and number requested (1) or for perk it's “player.addperk (PerkID)”
fraquar
Make it easy on yourself.a) Fire up FO4Edit and go to the Perk group in the mod - you will see the list of Perks that mod adds. Write down the ones you want from the mods you have.b) In the game you don't have to search for anything, just type in player.addperk ID, where ID is the ID of the perk. If you run FO4Edit and leave your entire mod list active - that ID you see will be the one you need to type in the console once in game. Added: Just understand that some Perks aren't meant to be added like that, they are part of a "module" on an apparel item.Ex. CROSS Mojave Manhunter. All of the Perks listed there are applied to the module you add to the Mask - so you wouldn't want to add them to the player - the Mask will do that when you wear it. Added: If you aren't using FO4Edit, trust me - you should. It is an INDISPENSABLE game modding utility. Edited June 26, 2023 by fraquar
