Guards keep telling me I smell like a wet dog. Why?

My character is a high elf female. We recently got rid of being a werewolf and can now sleep restfully. Guards continue to tell her that she smells like a wet dog. Before, I thought it was because she was a werewolf, but now that she isn't, they continue to tell her that. Are they just rude or what?

I believe they continue to call you a wet dog due to a bug. There is most likely a mod that fixes it.

Also, this sort of thing belongs in the Skyrim section of the forums. :thumbsup:

If you turned into a werewolf its a known fact the guards know you are one, because of your smell.

No they're just telling you that because you've been in the rain.

 

Now you smell like a wet dog. My cat sometimes smells like wet dog.
