homeiswonderland
I wouldn't be posting anything if I hadn't run out of ideas...I've run out of ideas. My problem? CTD's. Outdoors. Random. Frustrating. The game runs fine with no stuttering as far as I can tell. It just crashes.Load Order:GameMode=Skyrim Skyrim.esm=1Update.esm=1Dawnguard.esm=1HearthFires.esm=1Dragonborn.esm=1SPIKE.esm=1Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp=1Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp=1Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp=1Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp=1ClimatesOfTamriel.esm=1DynamicLoot.esm=1ApachiiHairMales.esm=1ApachiiHair.esm=1AP Skyrim.esm=1ApachiiHairFemales.esm=1HighResTexturePack01.esp=1HighResTexturePack02.esp=1HighResTexturePack03.esp=1RaceMenu.esp=1RaceMenuPlugin.esp=1skyui.esp=1Cloaks.esp=1Auto Unequip Ammo.esp=1hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp=1Immersive Weapons.esp=1WestWindMisfit.esp=1betterquestobjectives.esp=1azarhair.esp=13DNPC.esp=1dovahbit.esp=1Dr_Bandolier.esp=1zz_GD_DB_RAHoods.esp=1DreamBurrowsRegalAssassin.esp=1dD - Enhanced Blood Main.esp=1dD-Dragonborn-Dawnguard-EBT Patch.esp=1HarvestOverhaulDawnguardDragonborn.esp=1HarvestOverhaulSalmonRoe.esp=1HarvestOverhaulCreaturesDawnguardHearthfireDragonborn.esp=1Better Stealth AI for Followers.esp=1OBIS.esp=1OBISDB.esp=1Bandit Patrols.esp=1MoreBanditCamps(Explorer'sEdition).esp=1Predator Vision.esp=1Skyhighrim.esp=1RealisticNeedsandDiseases.esp=1RND_Dawnguard-Patch.esp=1RND_HearthFires-Patch.esp=1RND_Dragonborn-Patch.esp=1RND_USKP-Patch.esp=1breezehomenoreq.esp=1Unofficial High Resolution Patch.esp=1konahrik_accoutrements.esp=1konahrik_accoutrements_db.esp=1SkyRe_Main.esp=1SkyRe_Races.esp=1SkyRe_StandingStones.esp=1SkyRe_Combat.esp=1SkyRe_EnemyAI.esp=1SkyRe_EnemyScaling.esp=1SkyRe_EncounterZones.esp=1SkyRe_Survivalism.esp=1konahrik_accoutrements_dpe.esp=1konahrik_accoutrements_SkyRe.esp=1HARODATH_ImmersiveSoulgems.esp=1Acquisitive Soul Gems.esp=1Chesko_Frostfall.esp=1SkyRe_HarvestOverhaulDawnguardDragonbornPatch.esp=1Hunterborn.esp=1Hunterborn_Dawnguard-Patch.esp=1Hunterborn_Frostfall-Patch.esp=0Hunterborn_RND-Patch.esp=11nivWICCloaksNoGuards.esp=1LFox Blacksmiths Have Metals.esp=1More Carriages.esp=1Apocalypse - The Spell Package.esp=1DrSKnapsacks.esp=1backpackfrankdema.esp=1Armored Circlets.esp=1Cloaks - Dawnguard.esp=1TrissArmorRetextured.esp=1iHUD.esp=1ethereal_elven_overhaul.esp=1Skyrim Immersive Creatures.esp=1Skyrim Immersive Creatures - DLC2.esp=1StaticMeshImprovementMod.esp=1StaticMeshImprovementMod-DragonbornTernFix.esp=1StaticMeshImprovementMod-FurnitureChestSnowFix.esp=1BosmerArmorMATY743.esp=1ElvenScout.esp=1MECR_Classic_Nord_Shields.esp=1AMB Glass Variants Lore.esp=1Differently Ebony.esp=1aMidianborn_Skyforge_Weapons.esp=1Ghosu - Weapon Pack 1.esp=1WWW.esp=1Daedric Dawnbreaker.esp=1Dawnbreaker_PeacefulExplosion.esp=1EbonyBlade1H.esp=1Ghosu - Dragonbone Knife Knuckles.esp=1LostLongSwords.esp=1SkyRe_LostLongSwords.esp=1Andragorn_Weapons.esp=1Woodcutter's Wife.esp=1BHWarPaints.esp=1Book Covers Skyrim.esp=1Book Covers Dawnguard.esp=1Book Covers Hearthfire.esp=1Book Covers Dragonborn.esp=1SFO - Expanded Diversity.esp=1Skyrim Flora Overhaul.esp=1sundamageenchantment.esp=1DynamicLoot_DG.esp=1DynamicLoot_DB.esp=1Freedom of Speech.esp=1Freedom of Speech -- Dawnguard.esp=1Thunderchild - Epic Shout Package.esp=1Thunderchild - SkyRe Compatibility Patch.esp=1private_singular_quivers.esp=1winterhold_improvements.esp=1Populated Lands Roads Paths.esp=1vendorchests.esp=1Long lost smelters by Hyralux.esp=1Long Lost Chopping Blocks.esp=1HavenBag.esp=1Inconsequential NPCs.esp=1Immersive Battles.esp=1Immersive Brigands.esp=1Immersive Dawnguard.esp=1Immersive Dragonborn.esp=1Immersive Factions.esp=1Immersive Mercenaries.esp=1Immersive Patrols.esp=1Immersive Travelers.esp=1Immersive Werewolves.esp=1when vampires attack.esp=1Run For Your Lives.esp=1Arnleif and Sons Trading Company Restocked.esp=1EMCompViljaSkyrim.esp=1EMViljaInSolstheimAddOn.esp=1NetchCompanion.esp=1Convenient Horses.esp=1UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul.esp=1UFO - Heartfire AddOn.esp=1UFO - Dawnguard AddOn.esp=1Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp=1DTHSpellMageArmorEffectReplacerMuffleWhite.esp=1DragonCombatOverhaulDragonborn.esp=1DeadlyDragons.esp=1DJZ Cooking Pots.esp=1Breezehome_Fully_Upgradable.esp=1HallsOfDovahndor.esp=1Purewaters.esp=1PurewatersDG.esp=1PurewatersDB.esp=1RND_PureWaters-Patch.esp=1Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Interiors.esp=1Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Exteriors.esp=1Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Minor Cities and Town Interiors.esp=1Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Dungeons.esp=1Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Dawnguard Interiors.esp=1ClimatesOfTamriel-Nights-Level-5.esp=1ClimatesOfTamriel-Dragonborn-Patch.esp=1ClimatesOfTamriel-Dawnguard-Patch.esp=1AOS.esp=1AOS_CoT 3.1 compatibility patch.esp=1AOS_CTD_Fix.esp=1Uncle Sheo.esp=1GoldCoinWeight.esp=1ReProccer.esp=1Bashed Patch, 0.esp=1SkyRe_CraftingFix.esp=1ReProccerNONPLAYERfix.esp=1DragonbornArmorFix.esp=1 Yeah... that's... a lot of mods... *I'm also using Fake Fullscreen (did a clean uninstall a few months back and wow did FFS give me problems, when uninstalling, that is. I use it as I have problems with microstuttering when in first person).*Uninstalled SkyTest recently. Hopefully did it right.*Uninstalled Wet and Cold recently.*Uninstalled Skybirds recently.I try to stay away from Boss. Reproccer always runs it, and I always have to go in and change things back cause... yeah.Last few crashes that happened:1. Outside Forbear's Hideout during the Dawnguard questline. Kept crashing when I'd try to walk away from the area. Fast traveled to Solitude safely. It was raining.2. **NEW SAVE** Didn't have Frostfall, Hunterborn, RND, mods like that, none of those were started from MCM. I just was wandering around as a Forwsorn getting in some target practice. Turned enemy AI off. Neared "The Bird's Eye" (either added or edited by Interesting Npc's) in the Solitude region. Was shooting some Thalmor and sniping some Dawnguard when crash.(3. The area around Morthal gives me problems. Damn swamp...) When I have Frostfall running I'm often getting the "your game took longer to update that it should have cause your scripts are slow". I don't know much about my pc (my dad just sorta told me, yes, this is a computer for gaming) so if you need more info just lmk:PC SPECS:i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40 GHz 12.0 GB RAMWindows 7 64-bitAMD Radeon HD 7450 Also, I have Papyrus Script Logging on but... I have no idea how to read that. Most of it's just yelling at me for uninstalling SkyBirds. Help would be superextraultra appreciated. I've tried everything I feel safe trying. The random CTD's are killing me. On the bright side, my save files don't seem to be corrupted, so I hopefully haven't lost a character. It's probably not save bloating... But what do I know? If anyone needs any more information, I'm more than happy to provide it (.ini files or anything like that). Thank you so much! DragonDude1029
Here's somewhere to start:1. Use BOSS to sort that load order. It's almost always right. I can't recommend this enough.2. An AMD Radeon HD 7450 probably doesn't have enough VRAM or power to sustain what you are running (all those high res mods and such). Less high res and some INI edits may help.3. Bunch of mods running scripts. That could cause issues, but usually I assume it's not.4. Use console to up your speed a fair bit, then use tcl. Fly around for a solid 5-10 minutes. If it crashed from this it probably (don't quote me on it) isn't crashing from mod conflict, but rather your game is not stable for your hardware specs. Too many scripts or high res mods.5. How often are your CTDs?6. You papyrus logs may help, I can read them. I seriously doubt uninstalling SkyBirds is the issue.

I know nothing of graphics cards. What am I supposed to be looking for? Any links you can send me that give me the basics cause... I just see a bunch of numbers. I have suspected it was my graphic card for quite a while now.3. Yep.4. I'll try it.5. Oooh... if I'm trekking across Skyrim... maybe every 10-20 minutes? 6. Crap, "I am not permitted to upload this kind of file."Also thanks for responding, I feel sort of hopeless trying to figure out technology on my own. Deleted190938User
2. I know nothing of graphics cards. What am I supposed to be looking for? Any links you can send me that give me the basics cause... I just see a bunch of numbers. I have suspected it was my graphic card for quite a while now. Not sure how much you know about PCs, so forgive me if I go into details that you already know. Just covering all the basis, since you asked... Video cards, these days, are practically little computers in your computer. They have a cpu, RAM, all of it which are completely separate and distinct from your own machine's. All of the textures that are in the game get loaded into video card's RAM as it is needed during your playtime. Now, take into consideration these texture mods, that are loading 2048x2048 textures for things like water, clothes, etc- when you are rocking these types of mods, standing next to a river, with a mountain view in the background, can push as much as 2.1 gigabytes of textures onto a video card... if the card can support it. Your card has 1 GB of video RAM. It doesn't necessarily mean you can't load some of these scenes; Windows does some neat voodoo to get it all to work out when you don't have much. That said, there is only so much it can do,and eventually that voodoo will cap out it's system RAM (3.1GB for Skyrim unless you are using ENBoost), and then you will ctd. Thus your problem. (also, on a side note, your RAM is slow compared to newer cards. Newer cards are up to DDR5 ram; yours is still at DDR3). The ideal card for this is 1.5GB or larger, and relatively new. I actually purchased the GTX 580 w/ 3GB of VRAM, specifically because of this game and its mods. Anyhow, that's the jist of it. The answer is to use less textures. If you have a choice between 2048 and 1024, choose the 1024. Reduce the textures down to a usable level, or you'll hit a point where your machine just can't keep up anymore.
