Advanced Power Armor MKII red boxes, tried everything I can find to fi

I have been playing error free for quite a while but ran into an issue when confronting the Enclave for the first time. The armor "Advanced Power Armor MKII" is getting the big red box. I can, as far as I can tell, see the entire suit through the red box. I AII'd, used the BSA manager in Little Boy, disabled the power armor altering mods, even tried to find the issue with FO3Edit, all with no success.

Did I miss something obvious or overlook something searching this forum?

hm... red boxes usually connect to textures error... but if you say you disabled all armor - changing mods, hmmm. did this iclude XFO as well? (never played this mod, so i don't know exactly what ot does..)

however, i have a workaround :) try wonderful weijiesen's mod fond HERE. as far as you have "default" mash and texture referral, it should work...

could it be that you've set the textures in ArchiveInvalidation.txt?

 

Not a texture error it is a missing mesh error. I have this issue as well. I think I traced it back to the Unofficial Fallout 3 patch. It has to do with the .bsa not archiving. Still not sure if that is the cause or not but it is definitely something to do with a .bsa not being unpacked.

do you know if its an error in the BSA, where its slightly corrupt (but replacing it will fix it) or if its a bug with the unofficial patch?

 

I don't know. I haven't tried replacing it. That's a good idea I'll so that right now :P

 

EDIT: Reinstalling UF3P and re-unpacking all my .bsa's fixed the red ! for my MKII armor issue.
