Geck problems with Extender installed

Hi I recently started trying to do some modding in GECK and am having a problem with things in the cell disappearing. I installed the GECK Extender hoping this would help and while it is great and has improve alot of things I'm still having objects(especially large objects) disappear on me. Sometimes the whole cell disappears. I can get it to reappear by plugging the coordinates of the cell back in but then I've got to get back to my spot and start what I was doing all over again.

Obviously this is frustrating if you're trying to design a quest or level. How do I fix this? Thanks

Also when I first load the game files into GECK it says "program not responding" before it evens itself out after 10 seconds. Is there a fix for this?

I make a guess that your rig doesnt have enough resource to run your loaded game in GECK. Especially if the active esp and the cell is too big.

Example, I have mine running a TTW session (full ttw masters) with one selfmade mod. Even if the esp is small, it still take a while run, so I check my Chrome in the meantime. The initial loading can get up to 5 minutes if the esp is big(ish)(like 11 small cells).

So the question is: Is your rig good enough? Huh? Is it?

(we doesnt discuss multibound variable here, because if it's not good enough mention that would do nothing).

If your GECK isn't 4GB aware then use this to make it so 4GB Patch – NTCore

Sometimes I find that exteriors behave better if you load an interior and use the teleport marker to take you outside, you could also try hitting F5 with the render window active. The GECK is notoriously buggy anyway so you'll often find yourself fighting with it and learning to save often, I don't know if there is anything in here that might help Template:GECK: Common Problems - Nexus Mods Wiki
