need help with fallout 3 download

When i download the game and try to start it, windows pops up saying it found a problem if a solution is found it will notife... this only happens when i try to start the game if you no what the problem is plz let me know. thank you.

You forget the possibility of him buying it from Steam or Direct2Drive.

They both require the game to be downloaded.

Sorry, I didn't know you could buy the game from Direct2Drive or Steam.

@m16mcquillan: If your Fallout3 is from Steam or D2D I'd check to see they (where you got it from) has a FAQ or a support forum for the game. if you got it elsewhere go buy the game.

If your Fallout 3 is downloaded from Steam, you may want to look at its Properties on your Games list, Local Files tab, and Verify integrity of game cache.

Does it say particularly what the problem is? And if it's on Steam, are you trying to start it through the Steam menu? You can also install game launchers on the desktop through Steam, and you could try starting the game through the desktop.
