What are all of the missable items in Legacy of the Dragonborn?

I tried to get the Harbinger's Axe after completing the Companions questline. I never bothered to look at it before, since taking it prior to the quest would constitute stealing. However, upon looking at it, I found it was locked with a unique key and can't be picked. I couldn't find a key anywhere. Upon investigating, I found that THE KEY IS ON KODLAK AND MUST BE TAKEN FROM HIM BEFORE HE DIES. So now, I missed an item that I can never acquire now, and I don't have a save that far back to undo what I've done. Now, I'm having to RESET ONCE AGAIN.

I am getting sick of this. I've gotten further than I ever have, I'm level 17, and now I have to start all the f*#@ over again. I joined them early so I could easily kill Keeper Carcette to get her unique weapon before she was removed from the game upon level 10. That part worked out. I never would've thought though that I couldn't complete the quest early.

Either way, my build is suffering. I'm having a hard time leveling, because the only skills I'm really using are two-handed and heavy armor. I didn't plan it that way, but that's how it worked out. So now all my skills are completely out of wack. Worse yet, my two-handed is far ahead of my heavy armor for some reason, meaning things hit me too damned hard despite wearing freaking heavy armor.

I'm getting really sick of all of this. Clearly I need to re-think my skills yet again. Clearly I need to level pp from the start of the game. I still need to do the companioins early to get that stupid weapon Carcette has, because there's no way to get the misdirection perk prior to level 10 even if you have the max starting level in pp and level nothing but it, which would obviously doom your character.

f*#@ this stupid mod.

This is the only list that I know of and it is most likely not complete.

https://legacy-of-the-dragonborn.fandom.com/wiki/Relic_Hunter_Guide#Missable_Items

There is supposedly a room of lost relics that you could use COC in the console to access and pick up the item(s) that you know you have actually missed. Alternatively, you can use the console to spawn in a copy of the base form or even move a specific instance of the object to your location.

What I think I need is a better way to ensure I don't miss any items. I think the wiki article is only listing things located in areas you can never return to. Jorrvaskr is clearly not one of those places. I think it does warn you that some of the items from Unique Uniques will permanently become unavailable if you don't get them before their owner dies. I didn't think this applied to Kodlak though since he doesn't carry the weapon on him.

Guess one thing I need to do is carefully scour every cell for any items that I may need to collect. If I had done that, I may have realized before hand that case can't be picked. Guess I do need to level pp from the start, even if it won't let me get Pendulum from Carcette. I'm also worried about missing smaller items like coins and necklaces which aren't all that apparent. What, do I need to hover over every table to find these items? Fml...

I'm starting to think that this challenge is for people who have already completed the mod multiple times and know what all they have to do. If I'm going to do this, I need to be far more cuatious. With the effort I'm putting in, it feels like it would be a shame to not immortalize it in some way. Guess I need to upload the save and load order when I'm done. Perhaps I could make a guide to using every mod LotD supports, and maybe a guide on how to actually pull it all off collecting everything.

I find the following to be helpful in knowing if there are collectible items and then if any of those items are for the museum.

Completionist - Skyrim Completion Tracker

This mod can be set to scan interior cells as they load and inform you if there are collectibles and whether they are loose or in containers.

Legacy of the Dragonborn - The Curator's Companion

This mod adds icons in the inventory that indicate whether the item has been displayed, is on hand, or needs to be picked up. MoreHUD & MoreHUD Inventory Edition are required for this.

But those are what I use for SSE. I do not think there are LE variants of those mods.

With that said, it may be a good idea to create a 100% collection guide for LE should you finally devise a way to do so.

To help you with that, you can use the Skyrim Community Uncapper for LE to modify how much skill experience goes towards character experience. Set it so that only combat skills go towards character leveling, then you can stay at lower levels for longer periods even if you need to max out a non-combat skill in order to obtain specific items.
