C0nstantK
Hi, I'm going to be porting a gun from F03 to NV and had a question around scope assets. If the gun uses the scope from a new vegas gun, do I have to include the scope nif or can it just pull the file from the mod users game? Sorry if this is a daft question, I wasn't sure. Thanks! showler
Porting a mod added gun from FO3? If it just uses a NV vanilla nif then you can just refer to the one the player already has in the vanilla game assets, yes.
C0nstantK
Yeah a mod added gun - The mesh has a scope so I've used one of the existing scope reticle nifs but if I dont have a physical copy of the nif in my meshes folder I get a red exclamation when I ADS. I wondered if the game was able to pull the vanilla asset from the Meshes.bsa or if I have to include a copy with the mod, which I'm assuming isn't allowed as its including assets I dont own. Hope that makes sense!
