Dashyburn
I haven't tried a new game in a very long while and Spacebourne 2 looks very interesting, but I have an ancient potato that is a bit short of the minimum specs. The minimums are AMD FX 6300 2.9 - Geforce GTX 780 3gb - 8 gb ram. The ancient potato - AMD FX 8120 8 core 3.2 - Geforce GTX 660 ti 2gb DDR5 - 8 gb DDR3 ram. The CPU barely passes, the ram is minimum but the GPU is a gig short. Never had to worry about min specs before so do not know how strict they are, will the game even run or detect under minimum spec and not even launch? If it does work how bad would you estimate performance with an under spec GPU? Thanks.
HeyYou
It'll probably run, but, you are gonna have to turn down some of the settings to get a playable framerate. Will it still be an acceptable experience? That's up to you.
363rdChemicalCompany
I played Fallout 4 (modded ) with a CPU above recommended enough RAM but with GPU below spec.It ran.I tunred down settings and had places where it would freeze but it was playable. Dashyburn
Thank you HeyYou and 363rdChemicalCompany that's all I needed to know as I wasn't sure how newer games react to under specs, it would be sad to purchase without checking these things.
