ArchangelZero7
Not sure if it would be possible, but I thought that having a grimoire weapon would be kind of awesome. I love mage characters and that would really fit in well imo. It could act as a sort of spell amplifier, with the book in one hand and the spell to be used in the other. Upon casting the spell, the book opens and floats in front of you (facing you) and the spell is cast through the book. It could even have its own set of enchantment specifically meant for grimoires. idk. what do you think?

Gerandirr
It would be really fancy to have a floating book in front of you, when you cast spells, but it's not that easy to make animations.Simple mods get to be made more often. So what about this:When you have the grimore in one hand, and the spell you want to cast in the other, you get the power of a double handed casting, BUT with the magicka draw of a single handed casting.Powerful spells at half the cost ?I think that's good enough. What do you think ? Edited January 5, 2014 by Gerandirr
ArchangelZero7
That actually sounds pretty great. It would definitely be beneficial. And I figured the floating would be difficult, was just a though  What if, also, when casting, the book glows in your hand? to show that its active or at least to look cool? There would need to be drawbacks as well to try to keep it as balanced as possible. Something like a longer cast time or a recharge interval; it needs to be something that doesn't make it just another OP weapon mod.
