metal-esque music is good to an extent... the fast beat, the up-tempo footage.... which i am all in favour for.. but nothing really heavier than normal metal as it can be too "intrusive" as it were.

Using classical music or just soft music can bring a certain poetic and emotional side to a scene also.. if used correctly.

well..like the intro suggests.. its prodominantly about the 3 man team consisting of Bruck, Jessi jones and jericho (not the in game one..a differant one :P ) and their adventures on various missions. The missions themselves would be a background event..as in..you see them occuring but its not the premise of the base story.. Which is about the bonds of brotherhood that is formed amongst soldiers and tightly knitted groups.

Of course with this in mind..there will be action (as of course they are a team of soldiers) but there will be much more behind it too..well..thats the idea anyway.

if you use metal, you have to make it fit, and it can't be about the metal with the fighting in the background

an up part of the song with a epic fight works, then downbeat parts with resting

if you use soft music, make the footage have meaning, like this one....

Fallout 3 - We're Still Fighting
