Next pix

patterned mix of pictures and other effects. Not as simple as it might look at first.

Again, not as simple as it may seem at first.

The last two look kinda alright, they remind me of that net-art current thing.

The first one though looks bad, those colors do not go well together at all, and there's too much lens flare.

On top of that, you made your picture fairly large, but the resolution of the images you used is small, and they look very blurry and washed out, with little or no detail.

It's your right to call yourself an artist, I guess, but if you want true appreciation you should invest time in reading some art theory manuals. By no means I consider myself an artist and I don't want to put you down, I'm just offering my honest opinion.

Art is in the eye of the beholder.

This is only a tiny sample of what I have done. I have done many pieces that look very different from these.

I happen to like the washed out effect and I like the brightness of the first piece. Truth is I like many different effects.

As for being an artist, my main focus there is on my paintings and 3D montages which I am still perfecting. Photoshop is just a way of relaxing and medlling with ideas.

As for art theory, such as shading and contrasts, I have learned such but am always ready to learn more.

But thanks for the feedback.

Thank you TaborMallory and jaymaster007 for showing your pieces. Are excellent!

Kudos!
