Ahh.. Looks like you got a pic with a dragon, made it negative colors, added lens flare, and mirrored it halfway. And there is alot of noise too. Good try, but not too great. Sorry this is just my opinion.

Its too bad that you assume so because there was more work put into that that with layering, texturing and a few other tricks. I didn't mirror it but used another more simple trick. Problem with art, I find, is that one can do a good deal of work but it looks simple so its easy to assume it was simple done. I used to do this with other people's works until I got deeper into doing my own art.

 

Also what does it matter? Just because a nice looking bit of art doesn't take long to do or looks simple doesn't mean it isn't art. Anyway, why not just enjoy it for what it is? The following is very simple but I enjoy it (not my work and I make no claim that it is).

Thanks for all of your feedback and your honesty.

 

I must confess I didn't draw the hands. I do draw but my photoshopping is my fun. I did put a good deal into this one.

 

Hands are so difficult to draw that back in the Rennaissance (probably misspelt) the masters asked for extra money to draw/paint them.
