Need help with an error message about "Deployment Method"

In my Vortex I get the "Deployment nethod is no longer supported" notification and when I go to details it tells me "the deployment method you had configured (Symlink Deployment (Run as Administrator) is no longer applicable. Please resolve the problem described below or go to "Settings" and change the deployment methode"

The problem describtion below reads "reason: Game doesn't support symlinks"

 

What do I have to do now? I have no idea what a "symlink" is or how I get a game to support it

And when I go to "Settings" I can't change the deployment method because there is no alternative I can choose from

It seems the problem comes from Cyberpunk 2077 - where I have a huge red button "No deployment method available", altough there is nothing to change.

What did you change to cause the error?

 

If you moved the game or your staging folder to a different hard drive, it's possible that drive isn't compatible with links.

Nothing really. The game is still installed on my volume drive, as it has been since the beginning (the only thing that has changed are the game updates).

 

I just didn't played the game in a long while (and I haven't updated Vortex in the same time). Now I updated Vortex for another game and after the updates I got the error. I haven't reinstalled the game or something like that.

 

Could be my "staging folder" moved during the update? How can I change that.
