MikalSerity
Hello everyone, g'morning. I have a bit of a concern. I seem to have a problem getting Vortex to work with Steam workshop files, specifically with Conan Exiles. I'm running about in Conan Exiles at the moment, and I have a few mods for it from the steam workshop. Now supposedly, Conan Exiles, the Workshop files, and Vortex all play nice in the same sandbox. Also, supposedly, the BOSS system (in theory) works for Conan Exiles files. Or at least I hear it should. Could be outdated. However, as of this moment, I can't seem to figure out how to get them to even be IN the sandbox together, much less play nice. Vortex sees conan in its steam folder location. And it sees the modlist in its folder. However, I seem to only be able to setup a staging area for the conan mods, rather then point vortex DIRECTLY at the mod folder (with all the mods in their own subfolders within)and say "Use this location and sort as needed." At the moment, I'm stumped, and I'm not sure what to do. Therefore, I've come to ask for a bit of help. If someone can shed some light on why Vortex doesn't seem to like the workshop mods(or at least work with them without having to make a duplicate copy of all of them to do what's already been done) it would be appreciated. Thanks!
Pickysaurus
Vortex should update the config files to allow mods to be loaded directly from the staging folder. Unless Conan has changed how this works since the support was added this should still work.
